- I have been working as an interpreter for the courts, for the police and for a number of clients from the social and commercial sector since 1995. Before that I had been working as a translator for a number of years, translating for a wide range of customers, from larger firms to individual customers. I was born and brought up in England, where I studied politics. I came to the Netherlands in 1975 and worked as a secretary and PR-assistant before moving into the translating world.
